Such football stars as Zinedine Zidane and Ronaldo participated in a charity match that ended in a 2-2 draw against the Greek Piraeus club "Olympiacos".
Already in the eighth such event, the aim was to draw attention and support people living in poverty.
For the match called "Match against poverty," Zidane and Ronaldo invited footballers from all over Europe, including Ronald de Boer, Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Raul Albiol, Nuno Gomes, Yaya Toure, and others. They played against a team of Olympiacos stars, which included Christian Karembeu, Darko Kovacevic, Alexandros Alexandris, and others.
All funds raised were used to support the needy.
