Lionel Messi was introduced to the fans of Miami "Inter".
On Sunday evening, the 36-year-old Argentine introduced himself at the Florida club stadium.
"I am very happy to be here. I can't wait to start training and competing," the forward said in his introduction.
"I am here to compete, win, and help the team, like I have done throughout my career. I come here with the same desire. We will enjoy everything."
David Beckham, the owner of Miami "Inter" club, also took part in the introduction.
The club, existing for 4 years, currently occupies the last place in the MLS (Major League Soccer) standings. Messi's debut will be in the second half of July.
The Miami "Inter" stadium accommodates 18,000 fans. It was packed during the introduction.
