The newly started Premier League season in England has its first monthly laureates. The best football player of August was recognized as Teemu Pukki, a striker for the newly promoted Norwich club, who scored five goals and made one assist in the first four matches. "I am incredibly excited about this award," said the 29-year-old Finn. "First of all, I would like to thank my teammates. Few believed that we would start the season like this." T. Pukki competed for the best player of the month against Sergio Aguero, Kevin De Bruyne, Raheem Sterling, Ashley Barnes, and Roberto Firmino.
