In the German Bundesliga championship, Dortmund's Borussia club defeated Monchengladbach's Borussia 2:1 in an away game.

BVB took the lead in the 22nd minute through Marcel Sabitzer. In the 28th minute, the Austrian doubled the score by converting a penalty kick from 11 meters and scored a brace. Maximilian Wober reduced the lead in the 36th minute.

In the 55th minute, Monchengladbach's player Karim Adeyemi received a red card.

After this victory, Dortmund's Borussia remains in 5th place on the table.
