At 17 o'clock in the English Premier League, five more matches of the 10th round took place.
At the "White Hart Lane" stadium, the teams of London's Tottenham and Leicester, who fought closely for the champion's title last season, clashed. The winner of this duel was not determined - the teams parted ways with a 1-1 draw.
Mauricio Pochettino's players dominated most of the match with the ball and created more dangerous attacks, but the "Foxes" managed to return from London with a positive result.
In the 44th minute, Spurs fans were delighted when Vincent Janssen converted a penalty kick. However, Leicester equalized in the early minutes of the second half and maintained the draw until the end of the match. The only goal scorer for the "Foxes" was Ahmed Musa.
Jose Mourinho's army continues their streak of unsuccessful performances. Manchester United, despite 37 shots towards the goal, played a goalless draw at home against Burnley.
In the last four matches, with three draws and one loss, the Man Utd team occupies only 8th place in the English Premier League with 15 points.
Another Manchester team, Manchester City, returned to the path of victories. Pep Guardiola's players left no hope for West Brom with a 4-0 result.
Sergio Aguero and Ilkay Gundogan scored two goals each for the winners. The latter scored both accurate shots in the second half, while the Argentine scored in the first half.
The remaining two matches ended with victories for Middlesbrough and Watford in front of their own fans.
The last Saturday match took place at Selhurst Park stadium, where Crystal Palace faced Liverpool. Jurgen Klopp's team, full of energy, couldn't be stopped by Alan Pardew's army - they suffered a 2-4 loss.
The first half was intense - in the 16th minute, the "Reds" took the lead after Emre Can's goal, but just two minutes later, James McArthur equalized. Liverpool's answer came quickly - Dejan Lovren scored in the 21st minute, but the hosts once again leveled the score after 12 minutes.
However, at the end of the first half, luck smiled at the Liverpool team - Joel Matip scored an own goal. Roberto Firmino secured the victory in the second half.
In the top of the table, there are no changes: Arsenal, Liverpool, and Man City have 23 points each, but due to a better goal difference, Man City remains in the first place.
