On Monday, the 13th round of the English Premier League was finished a bit later than planned.
Burnley played at home against the team in great sporting form, Newcastle. The Magpies defeated the home team and celebrated their third consecutive victory.
Newcastle took the initiative from the very beginning of the match and took the lead in the 4th minute. In the 23rd minute, Ciaran Clark increased the lead to two goals with another precise strike.
In the 40th minute, Sam Vokes managed to reduce the deficit, but that was the final score of the match.
After a successful series of matches, Newcastle rises to the 12th position, while Burnley is near the relegation zone.
