At 5 p.m., the 7th round matches of the English Premier League were played.

Finally, London's Chelsea team achieved their first victory in front of their audience, beating Brighton footballers 2-0.

Jorginho and Willian led Chelsea to victory in the second half. The latter scored after a pass from Callum Hudson-Odoi, while the Italian led the Blues forward in the 50th minute from the penalty spot.

After securing their third victory, the aristocrats climb to fifth place.

In other matches, London's Tottenham team put a lot of effort into winning at home, defeating Southampton 2-1 despite playing with ten men for a long time.

The Wolves and Crystal Palace also secured victories in the remaining matches.
