Having recently experienced a very difficult career stage, Marco Reus has decided to link his future with the Dortmund "Borussia" club.
It is announced on the official "yellow and black" website that a new contract has been signed with the 28-year-old footballer until 2023. The German, who was recovering from an injury earlier this season, had his previous contract set to expire next summer.
However, M. Reus is slowly trying to forget about injuries and so far, since February, he has been successfully helping his team to achieve victories. The German has already played seven matches and scored three goals.
Both the club and M. Reus decided to extend their cooperation: "I am very happy to announce that I will continue to wear the shirt of this team. Dortmund is my home, and BVB is my dream team. Since childhood, I have been thinking about the day when I will wear the 'yellow and black' shirt."
M. Reus joined "Borussia" in 2012. In total, the forward has already played almost 200 matches for the club and scored 92 goals.
