Yesterday and this evening were played the semi-finals of the French Cup, in which the teams that will compete for the tournament trophy were determined.
The first participant in the final on Tuesday became the players of "Auxerre", who currently occupy the eighth place in the second league, defeating "Guingamp", a mid-table team of "Ligue 1", with a minimal result at home. Frederic Sammaritano scored the only goal.
In the second semi-final, the leaders of the highest league "Paris Saint-Germain" faced "Saint Etienne", aiming for a place on the podium. This match was not as intense as the first one.
After the first half, the teams were separated on the scoreboard with units burning. However, in the 60th minute, Parisians took the lead with a goal by Ezequiel Lavezzi, and later Zlatan Ibrahimović, adding two more goals to the penalty kick scored in the first half, stood out with a hat-trick for PSG.
