In France, "Marseille" and "Lyon" celebrated victories, while "Bordeaux" settled for a draw.

Today will be played the last three matches of the tenth round of the "Ligue 1".

The championship leaders, Marseille's "Olympique", and the team in tenth place, "Toulouse", have already stepped onto the field.

Two goals in the first half allowed Marcelo Bielsa's players to defeat their opponents and strengthen their position at the top of the table. Now Marseille's team is already eight points ahead of the defending champion, "Paris Saint-Germain", and the team in third place, "Bordeaux".

This was Marseille's eighth consecutive victory. The league's top scorer, Andre-Pierre Gignac, also stood out among the winners. The Frenchman has nine goals to his name and outstrips Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette by one accurate strike.

The latter's team played their last match of the 10th round. Lyon's players crushed "Montpellier" 5-1 at home. Attacking midfielder Yoann Gourcuff scored a brace.

On the other hand, Bordeaux's team failed to overcome the eleventh-placed "Caen" at home. The match was tough, and the visitors truly deserved a point.
