In France - PSG and Monaco's goalless draw

Today in the French championship three more matches were played, one of which featured two of the strongest teams from last season's "Ligue 1" - "Monaco" and "Paris Saint-Germain".

The Parisians, after their loss to "Lyon" last week, had a chance to rise to the top of the table, but without Zlatan Ibrahimovic, they failed to break through Monaco's solid defense. Leonardo Jardim's players have only conceded 4 goals in their last 18 matches in all competitions.

The match ended in a 0-0 draw, so PSG, now one point behind, remains in second place. Meanwhile, Monaco surpasses "Saint Etienne" in points and moves up to fourth place.

In the battle of mid-table teams, "Nantes" defeated "Guingamp" with a minimal score, while second-to-last "Montpellier" beat "Nice" 2-1.
