On Friday and Saturday, seven matches of the French "Ligue 1" championship's 16th round were played.
The ambitious "Paris Saint-Germain" team did not spare their opponents at home, crushing "Evian" players 4-0. Zlatan Ibrahimović, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Thiago Motta, and Kevin Gameiro scored goals for the winners.
The defending champions "Montpellier" also secured a confident victory. The champions, who were only in 12th place, defeated "Ajaccio" team 3-0 at home. John Utaka, Remy Cabella, and Younes Belhanda contributed to the victory with goals.
Tomorrow, three more matches will be played in France, including the derby between "Saint-Etienne" and "Lyon", while "Marseille" players will host "Lorient" team at home.
