BVB defeated Mainz 2-1 in an away match on Wednesday.
The hosts took the lead in the 2nd minute of the game with a goal from Jae-Sung Lee.
Just a few minutes later, Julian Ryerson equalized the score.
The winning goal for BVB was scored by Giovanni Reyna in the 93rd minute.
