On Friday evening, the first matches of the 19th round of the German "Bundesliga" championship took place.
"Hamburger" faced off against Leverkusen's "Bayer" in front of their home crowd. Despite not managing to score a goal, "Bayer" lost to their opponents by a minimal margin.
"Hamburger" spent less time with the ball, but in the 76th minute, a goal was scored, bringing victory to the hosts. Following a high pass from Nicolai Muller, the winning goal was scored by the Greek player Kyriakos Papadopoulos.
"Bayer" only managed to take five shots throughout the entire match, none of which reached the target.
With 24 points, "Bayer" is in ninth place, while "Hamburger" climbed to 16th place after their victory.
