On Sunday afternoon, seven Serie A matches were played in Italy, with some interesting results.
Inter Milan suffered a heavy defeat away from home against Udinese, led to victory once again by striker Antonio Di Natale, who scored two goals. The winners also featured Luis Muriel, while Inter defender Juan was sent off the field in the 65th minute.
Defending champions Juventus unexpectedly suffered a home defeat against Sampdoria.
The "Bianconeri" took the lead in the 24th minute after Sebastian Giovinco converted a penalty, and in the 32nd minute Sampdoria defender Gaetano Berardi was sent off, but in the second half Mauro Icardi's brace brought victory for the visitors.
Milan players secured a minimal victory, defeating Siena in front of their fans. The goals for the winners were scored by Bojan and Giampaolo Pazzini, with the latter converting from the penalty spot. Michele Paolucci scored a consolation goal for Siena.
Fiorentina players suffered a defeat at home against Pescara club. Jonathas and Mervan Celik found the net for Pescara.
In the evening matches, Napoli will face Roma.
