"Serie A" championship today played the last matches of the sixteenth round. They were not lacking in draws.
Sunday started with the Verona derby, where "Chievo" defeated "Hellas" with a minimal result. The only goal of the match was scored by Alberto Paloschi towards the end of the game. Both teams are moving up the standings, with "Hellas" in 15th place - the team that lost the derby.
In the match between "Atalanta" and "Palermo" in Bergamo, however, productive draws were recorded. Although the visitors led 3-1 after the first half, the hosts managed to recover after the break and respond with two goals.
"Fiorentina", in eighth place, could not defeat the footballers of "Empoli" at home. The first half ended with a goal from "Viola" defender Juan Vargas, but in the 57th minute Lorenzo Tonelli responded with an accurate shot, and neither team was able to score more goals.
Genoa's "Sampdoria" dropped to fourth place after playing a draw with "Udinese". Sinisa Mihajlovic's players controlled the ball twice as long and took more shots towards goal and the goal area. Nevertheless, the last goal of the match scored by Manolo Gabbiadini brought "Sampdoria" only a draw with a 2-2 result.
Two accurate shots by Kamilo Glik brought "Torino" a victory against "Genoa". Iago Falque had taken the lead for the opponents at the end of the first half, but seven minutes after the break, the Polish national team defender equalized the score, and shortly afterwards turned it in their favor.
In the final match, the clubs "Inter" and "Lazio" clashed in Milan. The home team managed to dominate in terms of ball control, but after the referee's whistle for the break, the scoreboard was lit up in favor of the visitors thanks to Felipe Anderson with a 2-0 result.
However, Roberto Mancini's players found the strength to recover. Initially, Mateo Kovacic managed to equalize the score with an incredible shot, and Rodrigo Palacio became the author of the equalizing goal.
After today's draws, "Inter" remains in eleventh place in "Serie A", while "Lazio" is in third place.
