Today, the sixth round of the Italian championship has already started after lunch. In its first match, "Roma" achieved victory.
The capital footballers hosted "Udinese" at home and settled things there even before the break.
The hosts broke forward already in the 12th minute when the right-back Radja Nainggolan made a great pass to Edin Džeko, and just before the end of the first half, Džeko himself accurately assisted Stephan El Shaarawy.
Finally, as the teams were already preparing to head towards the dressing room, El Shaarawy managed to take advantage of Jenson Stryger Larsen's mistake and secure Roma's victory.
In the second half of the match, the "giallorossi" continued to control the pace and achieved a victory with a score of 3-1. The opportunity to score from the penalty spot at the very end was missed by Diego Perotti, and a few moments later Larsen redeemed himself by reducing Udinese's deficit.
A little later, the Serie A newcomer, "SPAL 2013," threw a serious challenge to the bronze medalist, "Napoli," at home.
The home team did not allow dominant opponents to take control and scored themselves in the 13th minute. However, in the very next attack, the result became equal again thanks to Lorenzo Insigne's goal.
The southern Italian club then took the initiative. Although as time went on the "SPAL" players managed to equalize the game again, Jose Callejon scored the second away goal just after the start of the second half. Things seemed to be settled in this match.
However, far from it - in the 78th minute, Federico Viviani made a great penalty kick, so the result became 2-2.
After this episode, "Napoli" once again took the lead and ultimately achieved their victory, as Faouzi Ghoulam created another brilliant episode, bringing victory to his team. They secured three more points and at the moment are confidently leading the tournament table.
In the evening, following the example of Maurizio Sarri's students, came the sixth victory in a row for "Juventus" in the Turin derby.
The defending champions here played better from the very beginning and Paulo Dybala led them forward in the 16th minute. Moreover, in the middle of the first half, "Torino" defender Daniele Baselli was sent off with two yellow cards.
So, Miralem Pjanič doubled the advantage of Massimiliano Allegri's squad with a great shot before the break, and in the second half, Alex Sandro's goal after a corner really crushed the advantage.
In added time, Dybala, once again demonstrating his excellent form, reminded everyone about himself, and the match eventually ended with a 4-0 score.
It seems that the battle for the "Scudetto" this season will be truly interesting.
