On Monday, one round of the 31st round of the "Serie A" championship took place.
"Bologna", fighting for survival, earned three important points by defeating the last-placed team "Chievo" with a score of 3:0 at home.
The hosts took the lead in the 65th minute, when E. Pulgar scored accurately from the penalty spot. The same midfielder successfully converted another penalty just three minutes later.
In the 79th minute, "Chievo" had to play with reduced numbers - M. Bani was sent off.
"Bologna" took advantage of this, securing their victory in the 89th minute, with M. Dijks scoring the third goal for the team.
"Bologna" climbed to 17th place after this victory, at least for now leaving the dangerous relegation zone. "Chievo" is currently at the bottom with only 11 points.
