In Italy, "Lazio" smashed "Milan", while other favorites celebrated victories (VIDEO)

Today continues the third round of "Serie A" championship.

Having started the season well, Milano's "Inter" footballers secured their third victory by defeating newcomer "SPAL 2013". However, although the opponent was not impressive, the "nerazzurri" were not an easy challenge.

In the 27th minute Mauro Icardi scored the first goal from the penalty spot and even though a few minutes later he could have doubled the lead, the result could have been level in the middle of the second half, when Bartosz Salamon headed narrowly wide.

In the end, however, "Inter" surpassed their opponents and solidified their victory with a new contract signed recently by Ivan Perišić.

16 o'clock Lithuania time started another four matches.

After a tough start, Bergamo's "Atalanta" bounced back, securing their first win of the season against "Sassuolo". Gian Piero Gasperini's players had to chase their opponents after a successful counterattack, but everything ended happily.

During the first half, Andreas Cornelius equalized with a great goal, and in the 77th minute, Alejandro Gomez's pass was converted into a precise strike by Andrea Petagna.

Impressive victory was achieved by Florence's "Fiorentina" team, which also earned their first points. The attacking "Viola" crushed Verona's "Hellas" team 5-0.

In essence, the outcome of the match was already clear halfway through the first half, as the score was already 3-0 in the 24th minute. The first goals for the winners were scored by Giovanni Simeone, Cyril Thereau, and Davide Astori, with Jordan Veretout and Gil Dias adding the final nails to the coffin after the break.

Later in Rome, "Lazio" welcomed the previously victorious "Milan" players in front of their own fans.

From the first minutes, the match was evenly balanced, and the visitors even played slightly better, but everything changed towards the end of the second half when Luis Alberto was fouled in the penalty area by Franck Kessie. Ciro Immobile then converted the penalty kick, starting the nightmare for the "rossoneri".

Just a few minutes later, the same Immobile scored again from a Senad Lulic pass, and "Milan" had a lot to think about in the dressing room.

However, the break did not help Vincenzo Montella's team, as Immobile completed a hat-trick in the 48th minute and shortly after, the score was already 4-0. Riccardo Montolivo's goal provided little consolation for Milano's team.

After this defeat, they dropped to eighth place by the evening, as "Lazio" settled in third.

In the evening matches, the visitors emerged victorious. "Torino" managed to defeat newcomer "Benevento" with a lone goal from Iago Falque.

In the final evening clash, the pursuit for top spots continued with "Napoli", who managed to defeat "Bologna" players. The goals were only opened in the second half, with a goal by Jose Callejon, and later, South Italy club's fans were reassured by goals from Dries Mertens and Piotr Zielinski.

Maurizio Sarri's squad won for the third time out of three possible wins.
