In the other match, Inter defeated Bologna at San Siro stadium. Roberto Mancini's team had to work hard to break through the opponents' defense, but Ivan Perisic finally managed to score in the second half. The Croatian scored after a corner, and shortly after, Inter doubled their lead with a goal from defender Danilo D'Ambrosio in a very similar situation. The guests tried to make a comeback and a great shot from Franco Brienza reached the goal from the penalty spot, but they couldn't score a second goal.
