Serie A championship matches have been played.
In the first of them, Napoli's footballers left no hope for the Cagliari club at home.
Marek Hamšik here brought the hosts forward after a great combination with Dries Mertens in the fourth minute, and while the South Italian team continued to dominate, the same Mertens scored a penalty from 11 meters at the end of the first half.
Immediately after the break, Maurizio Sarri's team increased their lead as defender Kalidou Koulibaly scored, and the outcome of the match became completely clear.
Later, they simply calmly ended the second half and with three points added to their account, remained at the top of the tournament table.
Roma's Lazio, on the other hand, crushed Sassuolo, scoring the ball into their net six times. However, the match was far from easy for the capital team, and after Domenico Berardi's penalty, the opponents were in the lead, and the result after the first half was 1-1.
Nevertheless, everything changed in the second half, when goals were scored by Stefano de Vrij, Luis Alberto, and Marco Parolo within eight minutes. In the 69th minute, Parolo scored a double, and Sassuolo was already trailing 5-1, and finally, Ciro Immobile ended everything from the 11-meter mark.
In a slightly less impressive style, Inter from Milan scored three points, beating Benevento away. "Nerazzurri" guaranteed their victory in the middle of the first half as Marcelo Brozovic scored a brace. One of the goals was a great penalty kick.
Marco D'Alessandro scored Benevento's reduction in the 42nd minute, but the Inter team, leading the whole match, managed to maintain their lead and temporarily rise to second place on the tournament table.
In the evening, there are still great matches between Milan and Roma, as well as Atalanta and Juventus from Turin.
