In Italy - the equal fight between "Sampdoria" and "Milan"

The eleventh round of "Serie A" started. Today, two matches were played, and draws were recorded at both stadiums.

The first match featured the mid-table team "Sassuolo" and Bergamo's "Atalanta" club, located just a step away from the "dangerous" zone. The match stood out only by the high number of fouls - the home team violated the rules 19 times, while the visitors - 22. No goals were scored.

The evening match, as expected, was intense. In Genoa, the third-placed "Sampdoria" team met "Milan," dreaming of returning to the UEFA Champions League. From the beginning of the match, the visitors controlled the ball, and after a tenth minute goal by Stephan El Shaarawy, it seemed the fashion capital team would secure three points.

However, at the end of the first half, Stefano Okaka Chuka equalized, and a few minutes into the second half, the hosts were ahead with a goal by Martins Eder.

Of course, that didn't make "Milan" give up, and Jeremy Menez, who previously had a productive pass, scored from the penalty spot in the 65th minute.

The match ended with a 2-2 score, but it is worth mentioning. that with 5 minutes left until the end of normal time, Milan's defender Daniele Bonera was sent off the pitch. It is also interesting that "Sampdoria," who controlled the ball less, had more shots on goal.

After Saturday's matches, both teams maintain their positions in the league standings for now, but it is very likely that the situation will change tomorrow.
