Today there were two matches in the Italian championship.
In the first one, the players of "Torino" welcomed the Verona team "Chievo" at home, with whom they really struggled. Although Iago Falque's double gave Sinisa Mihajlovic's players a two-goal lead in the first half, everything was far from clear after the break.
However, the guests managed to reduce the lead only at the end of the match, and Fabrizio Cacciatore, who received a red card, dashed all "Chievo" hopes of extending the score. So, after the victory, the "Torino" team temporarily rose to fourth place.
A little later, "Milan" defeated the "Empoli" players away. The first goal was scored in the 15th minute, and shortly after that Gianluca Lapadula's strike was responded by Riccardo Saponara.
After playing just over an hour, Suso once again gave the lead to the "rossoneri", and a few moments later Andrea Costa scored an own goal. Finally, the victory of the Milan team was secured by the same Lapadula. This allowed them to at least temporarily move away from the "Roma" team.
