In Italy - Victories of "Inter", "Sampdoria", and "Roma" (VIDEO)

Today there were six matches in the "Serie A" championship. In the first of them, "Sassuolo" and "Cagliari" clubs shared points.

Playing at home, "Sassuolo" had significantly more shots than their opponents, but they did not convert them into dangerous opportunities.

Perhaps the only real chance to score in the second half was missed by Domenico Berardi of Sassuolo, who failed to beat the opponent's goalkeeper, so the match ended 0-0.

A little later, "Inter" and "Sampdoria" from Milan celebrated victories in the fight for places in European tournaments.

The "Fashion Capital" footballers at home after a tough battle forced "Bologna" to surrender. Eder gave the lead to the hosts at "San Siro" stadium in the second minute, but Rodrigo Palacio quickly leveled the score.

The next goal had to wait until the 63rd minute, when the impressive long-range shot by Inter's attacker Yann Karamoh found the back of the net. It was later revealed that his attempt was decisive.

"Inter" can now rejoice by taking advantage of the misfortune of Rome's "Lazio", which they surpassed by moving up to third place.

Meanwhile, "Sampdoria" after the break broke the resistance of Verona's "Hellas". The victory for the port city team was secured by a header from Edgar Barreto and a penalty kick converted by Fabio Quagliarella at the end of the match.

The 24th round of the Italian championship ended with the clash between "Roma" and "Benevento", in which the capital's footballers calmly took three points. Although "Giallorossi" dominated from the first minutes, it was the guests who managed to take the lead, with Guilherme scoring for them.

However, Federico Fazio equalized the score in the 26th minute, and in the second half, Edin Dzeko turned the tide. This was followed by a Cengiz Under double and Eusebio Di Francesco's team confidently added three more points to their tally.

Thanks to these victories, they also surpassed "Lazio".
