On November 27 in the courtyard of the Maironis Lithuanian Literature Museum in Kaunas, a family football event "United Family" took place, with families from Kaunas, Kaunas district, and Kybartai participating.

The families competed on the field with non-traditional size goals using a size one ball. The matches were played without referees, all decisions were made by the playing families, therefore the principle of fair play prevailed throughout all the matches.

The participants of the event not only had the opportunity to enjoy playing football, but also to visit the Maironis Lithuanian Literature Museum. Football and culture - two things that can be perfectly related to each other.

Football can be played anywhere and anytime, simply by setting up football goals in a small space and enjoying the game with everyone gathered. There was always an idea to organize the event on the snow and in a somewhat unconventional environment, so the snowfall in November accelerated the implementation of the idea, which was planned for the winter. - said the event organizer Martynas Karpavičius.

The winners and participants of the event were awarded prizes established by the Kaunas County Football Federation. First place was won by the Švedai from Ringaudai, second place went to the Stankaičiai from Kaunas, and the third place was taken by the Radzevičiai from Kybartai.

Algirdas Kvalkauskas, a member of the Kaunas County Football Federation board, is delighted that unconventional spaces are being chosen for football, where families actively enjoy playing football, but at the same time can visit museums.
