In Liverpool - a goal party and a stunning victory for "Real © „Reuters“

Football fans witnessed one of the most intriguing UEFA Champions League quarter-final matches.

"Liverpool" team hosted Madrid's "Real" club in the first leg of the series.

A total of seven goals were scored in the match, and Jurgen Klopp's players suffered a painful defeat - 2:5.

The match started tragically for the visitors.

In the 4th minute, D. Nunez received a pass from Mohamed Salah and scored the first goal of the match - 1:0. The hosts quickly scored their second goal when Th. Courtois made a mistake that M. Salah took advantage of - 2:0.

"Real" did not give up and Vinicius narrowed the gap with a great long-range shot in the 20th minute.

In the 36th minute, the Brazilian rushed to a quick attack and took advantage of Alisson's mistake to equalize the score - 2:2.

"Real" did not intend to stop - early in the second half, after a set-piece situation, Eder Militao scored - 2:3.

In the 55th and 67th minutes, Spanish forward Karim Benzema scored two more goals, making the score overwhelming (2:5).

In the next quarter-final match in Germany, "Napoli" defeated Frankfurt's "Eintracht" club 2:0.

V. Osimhen (40th min.) and G. Di Lorenzo (65th min.) scored the goals for the Italian team.
