Football referees must be cautious even in unimportant matches. In the second division of Norway, during a match between the teams "Kongsvinger" and "Ranheim", a referee assistant was injured. With 10 minutes left to play and the score at 0-0, a fan ran up to the assistant referee and splattered his face with red paint. The assistant complained that he couldn't see out of one eye, and the attacker was immediately caught. According to the police, he does not speak either Norwegian or English.
