London's "Chelsea" has identified Romelu Lukaku as their main target this summer, but a deal for the striker's transfer is still far off, according to sources revealed by football news portal Goal.com.
The main reason for this is the £100 million buyout demanded by Liverpool's "Everton," and the "aristocrats" club, of course, do not want to pay such a huge sum.
On the other hand, it is reported that the Belgian himself would prefer to return to the English capital rather than move to "Manchester United," which is also interested in his services.
Lukaku recently stated that he has made a decision about his future and it is unquestionable that he wants to move to a stronger club and compete for the most important titles. However, "Chelsea" is willing to take the risk that competitors will snatch the striker and will wait for "Everton" to agree to reduce the requested buyout.
At the same time, the champions of the "Premier" league are watching Real Madrid's Alvaro Morata, who is highly rated by coach Antonio Conte. However, they will also have to compete with the already mentioned "Man United" and "Milan" for his arrival.
In any case, the "aristocrats" will have to acquire a new striker, as there is no longer room in the team for their most prolific player, Diego Costa. This was recently revealed by the Spaniard himself.
