In Russia, E.Česnauskis Stood Out in the Second Round in a Row © EuroFootball.com

The 6th round meetings started on Saturday in the Russian "Premier" League. For the second week in a row, Lithuanian goalkeeper Edgaras Česnauskis stood out, whose accurate strike led to "Saturn" securing their first victory of the season, three points were also earned by "Dinamo" without Lithuanians playing, as well as the newcomer "Kuban", while the match between "Amkar" and "Tom" ended in a productive draw.

Ramenskoye's "Saturn", who had a rough start to the season, met with Kazan's "Rubin" on their home field. The only goal was scored in the 67th minute by E. Česnauskis, who brilliantly overcame the entire visitors' defense from midfield and sent the ball into the far corner of the goal with a precise shot. This was the second accurate strike by the Lithuanian in two matches.

Things did not go well for the Lithuanians in the match between Moscow's "Dinamo" and "Khimki" - in addition to the usual substitutes, Arūnas Klimavičius and Mantas Samusiovas, the recently less successful Žydrūnas Karčemarskas also found himself on the bench, with his place in the "policemen's" goal being taken by Anton Šunin.

However, as early as the 5th minute, A. Šunin had to remove the ball from his goal after a precise shot by the visiting player Andrei Tikhonov. However, after the break, the score was leveled with a penalty kick by Denis Kolodin in the 11th meter and the decisive goal in the 77th minute was scored into their own net by Vule Trivunovič for the victory of "Dinamo".

The league newcomer "Kuban" won away against "Rostov" after a goal from Latvian Yury Laizans, achieving their first victory of the season, while the match between "Amkar" from Perm and "Tom" from Tomsk was marked by an impressive first half, during which six goals were scored. However, neither team was able to score in the second half, and the match ended in a draw with two players sent off from the field.
