In search of the national team coach, the English found a new candidate

Roberto Mancini could return to England.

The 51-year-old Italian has caught the interest of representatives from "Three Lions," intensively searching for Roy Hodgson's successor.

Initially, FA representatives offered the challenging position to U-21 strategist Gareth Southgate, but he, fearing the great responsibility, passed it on.

The Italian media claims that R. Mancini may also not want to lead the unpredictable English and will remain at "Inter" team at least until the end of his current contract in 2017.

In the past, the specialist has worked with teams such as "Man City," "Galatasaray," "Fiorentina," and "Lazio."

An Italian has already led the English national team - Fabio Capello worked in the Albion from 2008 to 2012.
