On Saturday, nine matches of the Italian league took place. In these games, all teams considered favorites to occupy high positions achieved victories.
"Napoli" regained the top spot in the tournament table by defeating "Genoa" away. Adel Taarabt had put the latter ahead in the fourth minute, but shortly after, the leader of the Southern Italian club, Dries Mertens, equalized and then surpassed. In the second half, Ervin Zukanovic's own goal was crucial, as Maurizio Sarri's players wouldn't have won - Armando Izzo managed to narrow the hosts' lead in the 76th minute.
Defending champion Turin's "Juventus," on the other hand, had no trouble with "SPAL 2013." Even before the first half was over, the "bianconeri" were leading 2-0 thanks to goals from Federico Bernardeschi and Paulo Dybala. Alberto Paloschi managed to score for the opponents, but ultimately Gonzalo Higuain and Juan Cuadrado secured Juventus's victory.
Both capital clubs also added three points to their tally. "Roma" forced "Crotone" to surrender in front of their home fans, with the only goal of the match scored by Diego Perroti from the penalty spot. Meanwhile, "Lazio" quickly took the lead away against "Bologna," but they couldn't relax in the second half as Senad Lulic scored both against the opponents and into his own net. Nevertheless, Simone Inzaghi's side won 2-1.
It was also possible for the strong Atalanta and Fiorentina teams to defeat their opponents, both with a scoreline of 3-0.
Meanwhile, "Milan" finally celebrated a victory against the "Genoa" side after four unsuccessful matches in a row. "Rossoneri" opened the scoring with a great start to the season from Suso, followed by goals from Boško Češar and newcomers Hakan Calhanoglu and Nikola Kalinić.
