In Seville - "Betis" breaks through "Athletic" ambitions

Bilbao „Athletic“ had a chance to equalize points with Madrid „Atletico“, who are in fourth place in „La Liga“ on Sunday, but were stopped by „Real Betis“.

Seville's „Real Betis“ defeated the Basques 3-1 at home.

Manuel Pellegrini's players won after goals from Avila and Johnny. One goal was scored into their own net by „Athletic“ defender Berchiche. 

It was an unsuccessful match for the Bilbao team also because Nico Williams received a red card after two „yellow“ warnings and will have to miss the next match.
