The first two matches of the third round of the Spanish "Primera" league were played on Saturday.
The country's vice champions in Catalonia clashed with Barcelona's "Espanyol" footballers. Led by Cristiano Ronaldo, Madrid's "Real" team humiliated the hosts with a score of 0-6.
It is interesting that almost all the goals in the "white" team were scored by the best football player in the world. C. Ronaldo led the Madrid team forward in the 7th minute, and ten minutes later increased the advantage from the 11m mark.
In the 20th minute, the striker already had three goals to his name, and the final point in the first half came after the same C. Ronaldo assist to Karim Benzema.
In the second half, the number of goals was more than half less, but there was no shortage of comeback episodes. In the remaining time, the "white" leader managed to score two more goals and scored five goals in just one match.
These were C. Ronaldo's first goals of the season, and "Real" temporarily rose to second place with 7 points.
In other matches, "Valencia" defeated the league newcomer "Sporting Gijon" with a minimal margin away. The winning goal was scored by Paco Alcacer in the 90th minute.
