The Madrid club "Atletico" achieved a very important victory in the Spanish "La Liga" championship on Saturday.
"Atletico" defeated the Bilbao "Athletic" team at home with a score of 3:1.
In the 15th minute, Rodrigo de Paulis put the hosts ahead, but Nico Williams equalized the score at the end of the first half.
In the 52nd minute, Angel Correa once again put the Madrid team ahead, and "Atletico" secured the victory with Unai Simon's own goal.
This victory allowed "Atletico" to solidify their position in fourth place in the league table.
