In Spain - "Real Betis" victory and another referee mistake (PHOTO)

On Monday, the 16th round of the Spanish "La Liga" championship was completed.

In the last match, "Malaga" hosted Seville's "Real Betis". The visitors ended their series of failures and achieved a victory with a score of 2-0.

In the 24th minute, Sergio Leonas put Seville ahead, and Victoras Camarasa increased the advantage at the beginning of the second half.

"Malaga" could have equalized the score and changed the course of the match, but they were prevented from doing so by a referee mistake - in the 44th minute, a "Malaga" player took a penalty kick, which was saved by the goalkeeper, but the ball had already crossed the goal line. The Spanish referees without goal line technology did not see this episode, and "Real Betis" kept their goal "dry". (PHOTO)

This is not the first case this season in Spain when a goal is not counted, even though the ball crosses the goal line. "Barcelona" has suffered the most from this.

After the victory, "Real Betis" rose to the eighth place, while "Malaga" settled for second-to-last position.
