In Spain "Real Valladolid" players accused of match fixing

In Spain, the scandal of fixed football matches continues - this time it touched the "Real Valladolid" club controlled by Ronaldo, which this season managed to survive in the "La Liga" championship after a tough fight.

The Spanish media reports that the case of fixed matches was recorded in the confrontation between the teams of "Valencia" and "Real Valladolid". "The Owls" had to win these matches in order to secure a ticket to the UEFA Champions League.

"Valencia" won these matches with a score of 2:0, although there is currently no evidence that "Valencia" itself contributed to this. All the blame falls on the players of "Real Valladolid".

The Spanish police have undeniable evidence - phone calls.

It is claimed that Raul Bravo and Carlos Aranda, involved in the corruption case, bribed seven "Real Valladolid" players, including the team captain Borja Fernandez.

The police have a recording of a phone call from C. Aranda and B. Fernandez, in which they clearly discuss the mentioned matches: "Seven players were bribed, no more. Bet 10 thousand euros and you will receive 20 thousand."

In another conversation, C. Aranda told his friend: "Listen, 'Valencia' will win the first and second half, okay? Listen to me, they will win both the first and second half."

All three individuals are now detained by the Spanish police.
