In Spain - "Sevilla" and "Villarreal" clubs draw (VIDEO)

On Sunday, three more matches of the 21st round of the Spanish "La Liga" championship took place.

The first match was held at the "Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan" stadium, where the local "Sevilla" fought against "Villarreal". After intense and tough competition, the winner in Seville was not determined - the teams shared the points.

Sevilla had more possession of the ball, but the opponents were particularly dangerous on counterattacks. In the 49th minute, Samir Nasri could have scored the winning goal for the hosts, but the Frenchman's penalty kick from 11 meters was saved by Sergio Asenjo.

Sevilla lost points in Spain for the second time in a row and increased their gap from the leaders to 3 points. The potential deficit could be increased to 9 points if Madrid's "Real" wins in both of their rescheduled matches.

In the other matches, "Deportivo Alaves" defeated "Sporting Gijon" 4-2, while in the last game, San Sebastian's "Real Sociedad" struggled against Pamplona's "Osasuna".
