On Thursday, the last three matches of the 5th round of the Spanish "La Liga" championship were played.
Without the head coach, the remaining "Valencia" team struggled at home against the "Deportivo Alaves" players. The "Bats" eventually celebrated their first victory in the country's championship and earned their first points in the league standings.
The hosts took the lead in the 28th minute when an unfortunate own goal was scored by the "Alaves" defender. However, at the end of the first half, the visitors from the province of Madrid equalized.
The decisive goal that brought the victory was scored by "Valencia" in the 88th minute. Dani Perejo converted a penalty kick and helped the team achieve a hard-fought victory with a score of 2-1.
