In summer "Barcelona" will participate in a friendly international tournament.

Friendlies of FC Barcelona schedule for the summer of 2015 is becoming clearer.

It has been officially announced that the Catalonia club will participate in the North American International Champions Cup tournament for the third time after this season.

In this format of competition, "Barcelona" will play for the first time.

At the tournament presentation ceremony held in New York, where "Barça" was represented by club ambassador Eric Abidal and executive director Ignacio Mestre, future opponents were also revealed.

On July 21, the "Barcelona" team visiting the United States will play their first match in Los Angeles against "LA Galaxy" from the MLS league.

Four days later, on July 25, the Catalonia club will face "Manchester United" in San Francisco. Later, "Barcelona" will travel to Washington, where on July 28 they will test their strength against London's "Chelsea" coached by Jose Mourinho. The Catalans will play their final match on August 2 in Florence against "Fiorentina".

The North American International Champions Cup tournament will take place from July 11 to August 5. Several European and North American teams will also participate and compete against each other. These include "Porto", "Paris Saint-Germain", San Jose "Earthquakes", New York "Red Bulls" and "Club America de Mexico". These teams will play their matches in the USA, Canada, Mexico, and Europe.

The tournament will also have its own points calculation system. A team will receive three points for a victory, but in the event of a draw, penalty shootouts will be immediately held, and the winner of the series will receive two points, while the loser - one point.
