Argentine national team coach Lionel Scaloni decided to make two changes while it is still possible.
Officially announced that "Fiorentina" and "Inter" strikers Nico Gonzalez and Joaquin Correa are leaving the composition of the "Copa America" champions.
These strikers had minor injuries, as a result of which L. Scaloni decided not to risk. However, the strategist was a little upset with them, as the players, wanting to play in the World Cup by any means, hid their problems for a while.
They will be replaced in the Argentine lineup by 21-year-old Thiago Almada, who plays in the MLS championship for the Atlanta team, and "Atletico" striker Angel Correa.
Today, the health condition of left-back Marcos Acuña will also be checked.
