"In the Bundesliga - losses of "Bayern" and "Werder" © EuroFootball.com

On Saturday, six matches of the sixth round of the Bundesliga took place. This round was not successful for the favorites - the real contenders for the title, "Werder" and "Bayern", played unsuccessfully at the end of the games and suffered painful losses. Meanwhile, the league newcomers "Cottbus" and "Aachen" can celebrate a successful round - both teams secured their second victories this season.

The match in Bielefield, "Bayern" started successfully and after about five minutes they already took the lead when after a corner the players of "Arminia" failed to clear the ball away from the goal and M. van Bommel sent the ball into the net. By the way, this was the debut Bundesliga match for M. van Bommel. After twenty minutes, "Arminia" equalized the score, with A. Wichniarek scoring with a header from close range. The hero of the home team was J. Kamper, who scored a great goal from 23 meters at the end of the match and snatched victory from "Arminia".

The start of the "Werder" club was also successful - already in the 3rd minute, the player of "Stuttgart" R. Hilbert redirected the ball into his own net with a header, and half an hour later M. Zidan took advantage of Timo Hildebrand's mistake and doubled the lead. However, "Stuttgart" did not break and at the end of the half R. Hilbert redeemed himself for the own goal, softening the result. At the beginning of the second half, the guests managed to equalize the score, with P. Pardo scoring from 23 meters and becoming the first Mexican to score a goal in the Bundesliga. "Stuttgart" snatched victory with just two minutes left until the end of the match, when M. Gomez beat the goalkeeper from close range. It is worth mentioning that this was the fourth consecutive failure for "Werder" - last weekend the Bremen team was eliminated from the German Cup, and in the middle of the week they lost to "Chelsea".

Another favorite of the Bundesliga, "Hamburg", also let the victory slip in the match against "Borussia" at the very end of the match. 80,000 "Borussia" fans waited for a goal for more than 80 minutes - after a cross from the right, C. Wörns sent the ball into the net with a header and snatched the victory. This was the first win for the Dortmund team, while "Hamburg" have still not won in an official match.
