The match was unexpectedly won by „Stade Rennais“ team, which defeated their opponents from Lyon 4:1. After the first half, the score was 1:0 in favor of the hosts, and in the second half, the „Stade Rennais“ team added 3 more goals. Adrian Truffert scored two goals, while Hamari Traore and Gaetan Laborde added one each. At the end of the match, Lucas Paqueta scored a consolation goal from the penalty spot.
