On Wednesday in the second round of the UEFA Champions League four group matches, home teams had better luck - six of them claimed victories, one played a draw, and one suffered a loss.

In Group E, the surprise came from Trondheim's "Rosenborg", who managed to secure a point at home against the English champions, London's "Arsenal". Eindhoven's "PSV" earned the first three points with a narrow victory over Athens' "Panathinaikos".

In Group F, both favorites claimed victories: "Barcelona" crushed Donetsk's "Shakhtar" eleven, while "Milan" needed two goals in the final minutes to defeat "Celtic".

In Group G, a unexpected result occurred - German champions "Werder Bremen" emerged victorious against their Spanish counterparts. Despite trailing after the first half, the sending off of the Spanish defender Marchena helped them score two goals and earn their first points. Meanwhile, in another group match, Milan's "Inter" easily defeated the local "Anderlecht" team in Brussels.

In Group H, Moscow's "CSKA" managed to achieve victory against "PSG" midway through the second half. Meanwhile, London's "Chelsea" continues its unbeaten run, convincingly defeating Porto, the defending champions.
