On Tuesday evening, the third round of UEFA Champions League matches in groups A-D was played.
Impressively, London's "Tottenham" team returned to the path of victories. After conceding seven goals against Munich's "Bayern" in the previous round, the "Spurs" bounced back by crushing Belgrade's "Crvena zvezda" with a score of 5-0 at home.
By the end of the first half, "Tottenham" had a commanding lead - Heung-Min Son scored two goals, while Harry Kane added another. In the second half, Erik Lamela and H. Kane, scoring his second goal, also stood out.
This was the first "Tottenham" victory in Group B, lifting the team to second place.
In a closely contested match, Piraeus' "Olympiacos" faced Munich's "Bayern." The Greeks had an advantage, but two goals by Robert Lewandowski and one by Corentin Tolisso secured a 3-2 victory for Bayern.
Another important victory in Group A was achieved by Madrid's "Real" team. Toni Kroos' goal was enough for the successful performance in Istanbul.
"Galatasaray" team, left without a win, slipped to second place in the group standings.
In this group, Paris' "Saint-Germain" also achieved a resounding victory and solidified its leadership position. Kylian Mbappe and Mauro Icardi were ruthless against "Club Brugge."
K. Mbappe, who appeared on the pitch as a substitute, scored a hat-trick, while Mauro Icardi scored two goals.
"Manchester City" also secured a convincing victory, leaving no chances to "Atalanta" with a 5-1 scoreline. Raheem Sterling also scored a hat-trick (three goals in 11 minutes), while Sergio Aguero added two.
In the last match of the evening, Turin's "Juventus" achieved a dramatic victory against Moscow's "Lokomotiv," with Paulo Dybala becoming the main player of the match, scoring two goals in just a few minutes to lead "Juventus" to a 2-1 triumph.
