In the Champions League - the record of English clubs

After the Champions League group stage and explanations of who will play in the strongest tournament on the old continent, various records have been set.

English clubs, which have looked very weak in the Champions League lately, surprised everyone. Five Premier League teams that made it to the Champions League final stage also won their group matches.

London's Chelsea finished second in Group C, while Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Tottenham secured first places in their respective groups.

Never before have five teams from the same country played in the Champions League quarter-finals. Five Premier League clubs became the first to break through to the quarter-finals.

Two years ago, Spanish teams had the opportunity to do this, when teams from La Liga such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla, and Valencia played in the Champions League. However, Sevilla and Valencia did not make it to the quarter-finals.
