On Tuesday, Valdas Dambrauskas officially made his debut as the head coach of "HNK Gorica" club.
On Friday evening, "HNK Gorica" delighted their fans by defeating "Istra 1961" 3-0 and returning to the path of victory after a long break. The team last celebrated a victory on December 7th - no matches were won after the winter break.
In the first half, there was a complete equality, but "HNK Gorica" broke the ice in the second half - Matija Dvornekovic scored in the 57th minute, Michal Maslowski increased the lead in the 80th minute, and Kristijan Lovric added the final touch in injury time.
"HNK Gorica" remains in 6th place after the victory. They are 4 points ahead of their closest neighbors.
In V. Dambrauskas' debut match, there was no place on the field for Paulius Golubickas, who watched the team's victory from the bench.
