In the debut girls' futsal championship - a secure start for 3 teams

On January 15 and 20, 2024, the first round matches of the 2024 Lithuanian girls' hall football championship took place.

14 teams registered to compete in the U13 division of this championship, 12 of which have already stepped onto the court in Klaipėda, Šiauliai, and Šventupė.

In the South-East regional group, FK "Jonava" performed the best in the first round, winning all three played matches. Vilnius MFA "Žalgiris"-MRU won twice, while Ukmergės SC representatives earned one victory.

Meanwhile, participants in the North-West regional group competed in the port city and Šiauliai, with the nominal hosts of the courts largely enjoying success.

Klaipėdos FM main team won against FK "Banga" B, Klaipėdos FM B, and FK "Banga" team. Gargždų "Banga" main team secured two victories, while Klaipėdos FM B team earned one win.

FK "Gintra"-FK "Triumfas" team successfully defeated FA "Šiauliai", FK "Babrungas", and their colleagues from the B team. FA "Šiauliai" settled for two victories, while FK "Gintra" B-FK "Triumfas" earned one.

Group results and schedule

This weekend, the U11 division teams will gain their first match experience. The matches will take place on January 27 in Klaipėda, Rukla, and Šventupė.
