In the drama of six goals - "Arsenal" and "Liverpool" draw (VIDEO)

On Friday night, the first 19th round matches of the English Premier League were played.

Two giants of the country - London's Arsenal and Liverpool - met at the Emirates Stadium. Scoring three goals in five minutes, the "Gunners" were close to a sensational victory, but Liverpool equalized the score to 3-3.

The first half of the match unfolded according to Liverpool's scenario - the opponents had more possession, but the "Reds" were much more dangerous on counterattacks.

In the 26th minute, the first goal was scored - after Mohamed Salah's pass, which blocked an Arsenal player, Philippe Coutinho headed the ball over Petr Čech and put the visitors ahead.

Arsenal had almost no chances in the first half, while Liverpool punished their opponents in the second half. In the 52nd minute, once again in a fast counterattack, the top scorer of the league M. Salah increased the lead to two goals.

It seemed like Arsenal was collapsing completely and Liverpool would secure the victory, but then some incredible things began to happen - during the next attack, Alexis Sanchez reduced the deficit after an uncertain defense from Joe Gomez, and three minutes later, Granit Xhaka "blew up" the Emirates Stadium with a goal from about 30 meters.

However, the Gunners' fairy tale continued - in the 58th minute, Mesut Ozil played beautifully with Alexandre Lacazette and sent the third goal into Liverpool's net with a classic shot, as Arsenal managed to erase a two-goal deficit and take the lead in five minutes.

Nevertheless, Jurgen Klopp's players were not ready to give up, and in the 71st minute, the goal was scored - again, after a defensive Arsenal mistake, Roberto Firmino forced Petr Čech to play uncertainly in goal, and the result became 3-3 after the Brazilian's shot.

During the remaining time, football was quite open - both sides had chances, but the final whistle of Martin Atkinson announced a 3-3 draw.

After the draw, there were no changes in the standings: Liverpool remained in fourth place, while Arsenal, with one point less, remained in fifth.
