Theo Walcott could miss a crucial England national team match in Group D of the European Championship against Ukraine due to injury.
In the match against Sweden, the player who came on as a substitute scored a goal and made an assist, so it was thought that he would secure a spot in the starting eleven.
However, feeling pain in his leg during training, Walcott may not even be included in the squad.
"At the end of the season, Theo had a problem with his Achilles tendon, so we didn't want to take any risks and stopped his training," said coach Roy Hodgson. "I will wait for updates from the doctors. I can't write him into the starting lineup and have to replace him after five minutes."
There is also concern in the Ukrainian national team - veteran Andriy Shevchenko may not appear in the match due to knee pain. The 35-year-old striker, who has scored two goals in this championship, did not participate in training on Sunday.
