On Tuesday evening, the journeys of Lithuanian clubs in European football tournaments began.

The first to test their strength in the Europa League qualifying matches was the team of Pakruojo "Kruoja".

In the match held in Šiauliai, the players coached by Aidas Dambrauskas faced guests from Belarus, the Minsk "Dinamo" club.

In the first half, the "Kruoja" players played well and created several opportunities.

However, in the second half, the difference in quality between the teams became evident and goals rolled one after another into the Pakruojo team's net.

In the 63rd minute, the Belarusian club took the lead with a goal from the Uruguayan legionnaire Hernanas Figueredo.

After 9 minutes, Sergėjus Politevich doubled their advantage, leaving almost no hope for the Lithuanian team to win in the match of the day.

In the 84th minute, "Dinamo" forward Gleb Rassadkin scored the final goal.

The second leg of the match will take place next Thursday in Minsk.
